Pastor John Wright
Pastor John Wright is a native of Marshall County, MS. He accepted his calling as a minister at the age of 30 and has been running for the Lord ever since. A dedicated servant of the Lord, he serves under the tutelage of Bishop Brandon B. Porter, Senior Pastor of Greater Community Temple COGIC, and the Prelate of Tennessee Central Jurisdiction. Pastor Wright is also the Missions President for the Tennessee Central Jurisdiction. Pastor John serves in ministry alongside his wife, Joanie as the Senior Pastor of Parkers Temple COGIC. He is the proud father of 3 beautiful daughters, Startesha, LaQuesha, and Jatlin, and 3 grandchildren DeMiyah, Camia, and Allivia.
Evangelist Joanie Wright
Evangelist Joanie Wright is a native of Panola County, Mississippi. She is the youngest of five children. Her parents are Mother Clara Williams and the late Deacon John L. Williams. She accepted her call to Christ at the age of 8 and accepted her call as an evangelist in 2014. Inspired by her parents to teach the Gospel of Christ, Evangelist Joanie L. Wright enjoys serving in ministry, alongside her husband, Pastor John Wright. She is a licensed Educator and a graduate of the University of Mississippi, with degrees in English and History and a master's in Education from Liberty University. She is currently pursuing her Specialist’s degree in Education from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. Evangelist Wright is also an entrepreneur who owns two businesses and is an avid lover of animals and people. She currently serves as the Communications Coordinator under Mother Shirley Perpener of the Tennessee Central Jurisdiction. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking, spending time with her family, and traveling!
